Could any of you suggest a thread color close to Alabama's crimson red as well as their grey?
Either regular nylon or a color fast thread would be very helpful.

Back when Mudhole had the team kits I ordered some. I have them at home. If no one else chimes in by this evening I will let you know. I have done a handful of Bama rods.

The Auburn Tigers NCAA team Pantone colors are PMS 289 C for Auburn blue and PMS 158 C for Auburn orange. I don’t have a dog in this fight, though.

The grips are just the all black Winn Grips. This particular build the angler is in love with them. The Winn products are definitely a love hate kind of thing. I personally prefer soft touch carbon grips but don't mind the Winn on my personal glass rods.
