Acrylic winding check turners

I've been turning a round called Obsidian 2.0 for my last 20 rods or so.
Seams impossible to find now. One reason I liked it was the 22mm (0.85 inch) diameter. Anyone have a source of these larger diameter acrylic blanks? All black would be an acceptable. Thanks for looking! TJB Re: Acrylic winding check turners

Thomas. give this place a look, [www.beartoothwoods.com] they may have something you'd be able to use.
I participate on another forum where rod building stuff comes up frequently, and one of the members used material from this site to turn some grips. The stuff available on this site has me wanting to buy an actual lathe just so I can try working with it. Re: Acrylic winding check turners

Thanks for the tip, nice website.
A lathe is costly but I couldn't build without it now. Pays for itself over the long run. Fit and finish will improve as well. Just in winding checks alone I save close to a hundred bucks a year! TJB Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
