Note:
For the folks who have indicated that they can get dust in their finish if they use the process a unique way.

In a word - DON't apply and dry finish in an area where there is any possibility of having dust in the air that could possibly contaminate the finish.

I very much practice the use of a clean room and a "Dirty Room".

i.e. any rod building work that employs sanding or any other sort of job that will generate dust of any size or quantity - I simply do in a different building or different room - then the space and or room, where clean room work is done, like wrapping, applying and drying finish.

Keep them separate.

If you have only one room, then, before doing any sort of finish related work open the windows and use strong air to flush any dirt, dust or other contaminants out the windows. Then, close the windows and doors and let things settle down over night - before applying and or drying finish.

A clean room environment will disallow any dust to be picked up and contaminate a finish - because there is no dust in the area at the time you apply and dry finish.

I'm the same way. I've used the same 3 and got great results from all of them. I actually think ProKote penetrates the wraps better than the others, but it takes too long to cure for my liking. Flex Coat original high build and Gen 4 are almost identical, IMO. What separates Gen 4, however, is bubbles are all but non-existent and if one does pop up, it self destructs immediately. There is zero need for flashing with a butane torch, DNA burner, etc...
