Other fishing venues on the net

There is more fascinating info floating around than you can possibly imagine. This internet thing has the potential to make us who love the wonderful world of fishing and all related subjects a real force. All this "Stuff" we used to get about what is and is not available is not going to hold up much longer. One company doesn't offer it we'll find someone somewhere who does.
It absolutely fascinating to go to the fishing sites in other countries and learn what they're about. A common theme seems to be"where can I find" , it's not offered in my country/region, have you heard, does anybody know.
Obviously a lot of you gentlemen don't have the time to spend because of business, family, and hopefully recreation, but a twice weekly or so review wouldn't be a bad idea. I think.
At any rate Hooray for this board and all the ones like it wherever they may be. Neil

Neil,

I hope that this board will prove that there is more than enough business to go around for everybody and that each vendor and manufacturer can have their own niche. The idea is not so much to compete with each other, as it is to reach out to what is really a larger market than anyone realizes.

It can be a win-win situation for everyone, including the rod builders. Although the sponsors are here to hopefully increase their business, they also participate in the various rod building discussions. Quite often, this results in the free exchange of information as well as the kind of information that would not normally be available to the rod builders otherwise.

Keep in mind that thus far the sponsors have done much more than just try to sell you something - they have offered valuable information as a service to the craft. In return, it is hoped you will offer the feedback necessary for the makers and sellers of rod building supplies to better serve their customers' needs.

I expect this site will only get bigger and better.
