What would be a comparable blank to the lx80hbc? I use it for flounder fishing with 2oz weight and a mullet. Love the rod but want to change a few things like eliminating trigger and possibly spiral wrap

XSH 96 H, was the closest blank I would think, but they have been discontinued close to a decade ago. I would talk to NFC, they look like they have some similar blanks, back bouncing blanks appear to be drying up. A 3 oz. max swimbait blanks may be your next choice, after all the early swimbait rods were on some of these, though I haven't done any research in that way. I have more than enough back bouncers in my rack, 7 1/2 and 8 ft.

I tried to order from nfc but whoever took my call wasn’t understanding what I fish for in Florida. I can take the rod to Oviedo (get bit, mudhole, American tackle).
