Had Fun

I was in Oveido, Fl. today and I made time to visit American Tackle. The fun started as soon as I entered the showroom, I was warmly greeted by “Capt. “Mo” Fernandez and John Graves. After friendly introductions Capt. “Mo” gave me a rundown of their products and exchanged ideas about adhesives and rod crafting.

I was really impressed with their knowledge and helpfulness. I opened an account with American Tackle and when I gave them my name they remembered the name from the forum. Kind of puffed up my ego a little. I also plugged the forum as the best place to go for any rod building and other fishing related questions.

I took my time and I checked out all the blanks on display, looked at guides, grips and after a while I was swamped with info and helpful tips.

Those folks have their act together. If any of you are in the Orlando area, plan to visit American tackle, its worth the trip.

Had fun
John
