Does anyone know if the Fuji PLS palming seat is blank exposed or a full body seat? They say there is a "window", but it's not offered in different bore sizes like blank exposed seats. Has anyone used one and how do they mount to the blank?

Looks to me like the hand is in contact with the sleeve that is used with this seat. If you want no sleeve and only the blank exposed try ECSM or ACSM. I like ACSM.

It is an exposed seat, they do sell carbon sleeve tubes you can glue inside in case your blank doesn't match the ID. Anglers Resource is planning on importing the gloss black and matte black seats that have a carbon tube pre-glued.

I really wish they would make a size 18 palming seat like the size 20, that doesn't need any inserts.

My matte black PLS just made it to the states from Singapore!

You are looking at the wrong seat, they want a palming trigger seat, the trigger is set back much further.

Spence, your right I looked it up. The PULS is what I’m getting in. The PULS plays on the same concept of moving the trigger back to give more room to palm the reel.

Marc, I'm with you on this. Wish Fuji made the size 18 in a full body seat.I had to sleeve the seat with a scrap piece of blank before mounting the actual blank.

Go to the American Rsrc/Fuji site, casting seats, last entry, they listened to you.

I see the PLSSD as the last listed seat - almost prefect, but it needs some kind of insert to fill the gap to the blank and the open window on the seat, unless you guys are seeing something else?

Thanks Spenc, but as Marc stated it still needs a sleeve if your not lucky enough to have the seat fit the blank where you want it. The smaller seats have a "touch" window. I have no need for that.
