I love the feel of the Aero Seat up-locking, as I hold with three fingers in front of the reel - it's near perfect. But does anyone know if the Aero seat keeps the reel parallel to the blank, or doe it have a slight tilt?
Also - has anyone built with the Dagger seat and matching cork grip? Super nice looking seat, and I have some on the way, and I like that there looks like to metal on the seat - great for cold weather. So any thoughts from anyone that has built with the G2 Dagger seat? Edited 4 time(s). Last edit at 02/05/2023 09:42AM by Marc Morrone. Re: Up-locking Aero Seat and G2 Dagger Seat questions

Marc,
The seat should hold the reel foot parallel to the blank. The real itself will be angled toward a choke point or visual line of site to some part of the blank when mounted. You can take the spool off and turn the main shaft till it is sticking out the most, use a straight edge or string in line with the reel main shaft to find the line of site choke point on the blank. Fuji at Anglers Resource has some software that will also do this. For the grip, if you like it and most of all it is comfortable, then go with it. Thanks Lance - I check to verify when I'm working with them, but good to know it should work! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
