I have been doing some research recently on vibration and noise isolation.
When one is in a quiet work shop doing some unique wrapping, it is disturbing to many - including myself to have to put up with noise, if it is not desired. As a result, I have been thinking about looking into the Drone field. Drones that are powered by electric motors may have noise and vibration that affect the quality of video and audio as the drone does its work. Recently, I cam across some drone industry developed soft rubber isolators that help to isolate noise ad vibration to the offending object and disallow transmission of the vibration and noise to mounts, and surfaces that in many cases tend to amplify this issue. For example: The items on this page are various examples of devices to help mitigate vibration and noise: [www.amazon.com] The following is a video of a motor that had some vibration that was being isolated by use of some of these products. Virtually any piece of power equipment can use a vibration isolator if needed. The unique thing about these products is that they have been developed for the very small and light items and power units being isolated. [www.amazon.com] --- So, if you have some small item that you wish to isolate - with respect to vibration and or noise, consider one of these or multiple items to help to alleviate the issue. The drone industry is just now catching on to something Harley Davidson, infamous for clinging on to 40s - 50s technology, has been using forever? There has to be some irony in that somewhere. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/04/2023 01:13PM by Daryl Ferguson. Re: Vibration and noise isolation.
