Does anyone have the guide spacing for this blank set up as a casting rod? I can't find it on the NFC site.

Is it a 7' rod? How many guides?

Looks like I'll need to do a static test

From what I’ve gathered guide placement is determined more by reel placement. The striper guide should be around 20” from the reel’s line guide.

The amount of guides is usually the length of the rod +1, the 7’2” rod would be 8+ tip top. But, the amount is really up to the builder. I was just looking at a 7’ BSF casting rod that had 14 guides.

I just built my first rod (from a kit on Mudhole). It's a 7'0" casting rod and it came with 10 guides plus the tip top. FWIW, there are charts all over the internet for spacings for just about any application you can imagine.

Thanks, guys, but I need the guide spacing for this specific blank. It isn't listed on NFC's guide spacing chart.

Closest I could find on NFC’s site is for a 739 (I’m sure you saw too)
3.8-8.1-13-18.6-25-32.3-40-50

This could be your starting point then static test and move the guides where you want.
