True. You can even hear it if you put your ear to the rod. Best regards, Pavel Re: ZigZag guides

It's not making a vibration - it's resisting you in a fluctuating cadence. What you are feeling is leverage, not vibration.

Vibration is defined as The oscillating, reciprocating, or other periodic motion of a rigid or elastic body or medium forced from a position or state of equilibrium. So, when the lure falls thru the water column it’s in the equilibrium state. Once it hits an object you’ll feel the vibration no matter if the line is slack or not. Re: ZigZag guides

I don't know about you Pavel, but many takes are the absence of tension, the same feel as the lure gives after hitting the bottom initially, but when the lure is no where near the bottom. Drift fishing steelhead when you can feel an occasional tick of bottom contact and the differences in the current flow and then dead because the fish has picked up the bait followed immediately by continuous drag of the line in current. You have to set the hook in the "dead" time. I don't know how many times I have seen people trying to fish a slack line because the fish has the bait or lure, they are expecting the thump not the lack of it. Re: ZigZag guides

When a fish bites your lure on the drop it’s a vibration that reaches your hand through your hook, line and fishing rod. Depending on the density/hardness of the material the more you’ll feel it. Re: ZigZag guides
