Some time ago I ordered and received a stick of Flexcoat tip glue. It is milky- white in color and translucence, VERY slightly amber. I took it out of the package and put it at hand. Recently I seen pics of this product for sale from various vendors and in every instance it it is a very distinctive medium amber in color and translucence no milky- whiteness whatever. Did I get guide foot adhesive by mistake? Sure wish I'd left it in the package! Lol

Yep, that's guide foot adhesive. Useful stuff, but one stick lasts about forever.

Certainly NOT stupid! Without actually seeing it, I tend to agree with Peter that it may be guide foot adhesive (basically white) rather than tip top adhesive (basically yellow). While they both are “hot-melt” adhesives, the guide foot adhesive has a much lower melting point and thus is not as strong as the tip top adhesive; don’t intermix them unless you like living on the wild side!

Thanks guys, looks like I Got Bit. Lol. Supplier substituted ordinary hot glue for my Flex Coat product! (think snake oil) Right now he's lucky I'm so far away. John Cates has rectified the situation, but it shouldn't be on him! Thanks very much John.
