what El just pointed out is interesting. Marc from the beginning was out of line. PERIOD.. he did say early on tho.. feel free to post All of the pics and the string of emails. For the record i didnt see the deleted post. But If a 3 page thread bashing a banned member is gonna stay up, everyone should be able to see everything and not just the edited version.
Really wasnt gonna post anymore on this thread and still feel it should have been deleted as per the forums rules becuase of the personal attack. From what ive seen Mr Kirkman has done an excellent job over the years to "nip it in the bud" when this type stuff pops up. Re: Has NFC gone downhill?

Gotta agree with Matt. This finding that some of the post was deleted doesn't change the fact that the Shimano teet thing was way out of line, and that the description of the curve in the blank was over the top, but the entire post should have been left as it was.
It would have been easy and understandable to say that the OP was being banned for the personal attack. I again agree with Matt when he says that if the entire thread wasn't going to be left up, then it should have been deleted. If we want trust, we have to tell the whole story. No matter how it looks. Like the decision or not, the one thing I learned in 20+ years of operating a successful forum is that you cannot allow a forum to become a democracy. Those types become chat rooms for a dozen guys and they don't last. Aleks made a decision and that's that. Best thing to do now is get back to rod building topics.
