Hey now fellas. I am having a custom river rod built for me. This rod is strictly for fun. Nothing else.
I fish the river by me and found a spot recently that both produces fish and gives me a lot of room to back up before I start hitting the bush.

So just for fun, just for @#$%& and giggles, I am having my rod builder build me a 13’ or 14’ rod. I am looking at the NFC 1405 and 1305. But if you guys have any other suggestions please let me know. The rod should be Atleast 13’ and able to handle 3oz and 50lb braid. I’m not looking for a broom stick though. I am looking for a medium to medium heavy.

Right now my river rod is a Shimano Technium 10’6 medium casting.

Again this purely a fun rod.
