What kind of seminars are there going to be at the Expo?(past Examples?) Is this something that a new rod builder would be able to go to and learn/benefit from?
It looks interesting but a bit of a drive/flight from WI, so was just looking for a little more information to see about planning/arranging to come to it.

Thanks,

Stan

People come from all over the world to attend the Expo. Seminars run the gamut from beginner to advanced. There are seminars and demos on wood turning, thread art, customizing, 3D printing, Painting and marbling, etc., etc., etc. I'll have a preliminary list of seminars on the event website in a couple weeks.

I often ask attendees where they are from and if they have come in from any real distance, say more than a couple or three hundred miles, I ask them if it was worth the trip. Not a single one has ever said "no." In fact most tell me that it was even better than they expected it to be. And most return.

Stan - my first real intro to rod building was at the expo in 2020. I went to figure out what I needed to get started. The seminars were of value and talking to the vendors as well as other groups with booths (or NERBS) was invaluable. Now I live about 90 min away - but if the expo were in WI I’d make the flight

Thanks for feedback. Sounds like it's something worthwhile, and I will try to see if I can arrange to attend.

Thanks,

Stan
