Reading all the names of the Pennsylvania towns reminds me of my early teenage years, archery hunting for deer in Huntingdon county. We stayed at a families house in the borough of Mill Creek. My dad, and my brother and I, along with some of my dads friends and members of our archery club would go for a week.

The man of the house's name was Myron. He was part Cree Indian,. A mountain of a man and as genuine as they come. He was kind of a guide, but not really, he was just a really good guy. His wife would cook us huge breakfasts before we headed out in the morning, and would have big lunches ready for us when we came in from the morning hunt. Betty was here name. They had a dog named Mitzy that was my buddy. There was a creek 50 yards are so behind the house with brook trout and small rainbows in it that I used to fish for (not with a fly rod) between our morning and afternoon hunts. When you crossed the creek you were at the bottom of Stone Mountain.

Thinking back on spending those times with my dad brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my heart because I know how extremely lucky I am to have had a dad like him.
