silk wrap issues

I'm having a hard time keeping the silk packed together to remove gaps as I make the wrap itself. Once I start the wrap, I pack toward the start end (to keep the start in approx. the same place), and then pack about every five wraps or so. Where I run into trouble is at the end of the foot - I always end up with a 1/32" gap between the start of the curve after I finish and pack again. Any suggestions? Re: silk wrap issues

I agree with david, try tapering your guide feet more, so the thread dosen't want to slide off. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
