I am trying to find a rod, approx 12' for someone who wishes to fish for crappie and blue gills, but wants a 12' rod. Any recommendations?

There are several 11'-6" and 13' models that come to mind. St. Croix has a G116L2, which is 11'-6" and a G130L2, which is 13' and in Rainshadow models IST 1382F and IST 1384F, which are 11'-6" and IST 1562F, which is 13'. Just remember one thing, most folks lift fish with this type rods and you want to make sure the rod has enough butt to lift the fish with and not explode.
