The Rodbuilding.org App is almost ready! (for iPhone and very shortly Android) here is a "sneak peek'
What we wanted to do is to keep all of the same Rodbuilding.org functionality, but make it easier to read and post on your phone, as well as share your work (from your camera roll, or just to take a picture and post it here)
1) There are two views - a "post view" and an "image view" and you can easily toggle between the two back and forth.
2) Anything you post on the forum will be posted to the app, and anything you post on the app will post to the forum. Over the next few days you will see a number of "beta/test" posts of both from the app to the forum (they will be both topics and pictures). The same goes for replies, if you reply to a topic/post it will cross post to the app, and if someone replies from the app, it will cross post to the forum.
3) If you are a member of the forum, you do not need to re-register for the app, it will be available from the app store, and you can use your same logins that you use on the forum to log in to the app.
4) New users will be able to register from the app, but the same rules apply as before (first and last name, etc.)
We expect the app to be available from the app store in about two weeks!!
I know that there will be a flood of new users and posts as the format will become "friendlier" and I want to say thank you to everyone for making those folks feel welcome.
