TNF simply measures the natural frequency of the blank or rod. Higher natural frequencies indicate faster recovery speed. It is my opinion that faster recovery speeds make for longer casts, but I have no data. Just logic. Higher TNF's indicate higher stiffness to weight ratios. You can decide whether knowing the TNF of a blank or rod is of interest you. But you are always asking for nunmbers. TNF is one of the numbers that describe a blank. Along with length, weight, ERN/IP, AA. What other number did I forget?
By the way, what determines the speed of the fly line? Seems like since the line is attached to the rod that the rod would be involved. Show me your data for "All rods are equally accurate, . . . " Or is this just an opinion? I personally don't agree. But that's my opinion based on experience with different rod actions, lengths, and power. I have not run any formal data-based experiments. As long as guides and ferrules aren't loose and don't move and the wind doesn't gust a rod will cast to the same spot every time, given the same input. It isn't magic, and it's not a question of personal beliefs. It's what physics, logic, observation, testing, and experience all agree upon - but a skeptic is free to "believe" anything he likes. When I fly cast the speed of my fly line is chiefly determined by the speed of the haul [pull] on the line I make when I cast, regardless of the rod I am using. Keep in mind a rod cannot push a line, only pull it, regardless of TNF, ERN/IP, AA, personal beliefs, or advertisements to the contrary. The instant you release the line in any cast the rod blank has no further influence upon the speed or direction of the cast. The line simply follows the leader.
