Invisible Wraps Thanks and Update

This is a grateful thank you and follow-up for those who responded to my inquiry / post of how to produce the clearest “invisible wraps” of a few weeks ago. The general consensus for the thread to use was Hitena natural silk thread. Although I did not receive any comments on the use of PG versus typical thread epoxy, I used CTS Crystal Coat due to it being the thinnest and clearest thread epoxy I have discovered. The combination of Hitena silk thread and CTS Crystal Coat provided a much clearer wrap devoid of any “tunnel”air pockets along the sides of the guide foot than previously experienced; I could actually watch the CC penetrate the silk wrap and wick itself along the tunnels of the guide foot to the open end at the ring.
While not absolutely, 100% “invisible”, the combination of Hitena silk thread and CTS Crystal Coat wrap finish is immensely superior to other combinations I have tested. Although possibly considered a “1-shot-pony” test / comparison to other builders, it is enough for me; Hitena natural silk thread combined with CTS Crystal Coat finish produces exquisite “invisible” wraps. Thanks to Hitena and CTS for offering such great products. And of course, thanks to those who offered their assistance as well.

Mark,
There is an ex- sponsor that makes many thin epoxy paints and clear coats that may be easier to access than CTS. The finishes are used on model planes, RC models, boats, autos, etc. Klass Kote, they have dealers in the US, Canada, and UK/Europe.
