2 Thread Tiger Wrap

Just a quick question. Before I get too far down the road, I'm wanting to do a 2 thread wrap on a bass rod I'm working on. I want the result to be subtle. I've done many tigers in the past but only 3 threads. My question is can I do both threads with metallic? Unfortunately, I can't get the color combo I like with normal thread and a metallic. I appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Chuck

Yes you can, however I didn't particularly like a top thread in metallic on the one time I tried it, I went with normal blue. You may get different results as I was using silver and dark blue metallic Sulky in the bottom wrap so it wasn't a bit subtle.

I have done silver and blue metalic and it came out great. I used the blue metalic for the top also.

I may like it now too Lance, some times things just hit me some way and than later I'd have done it differently. Drives my wife nuts when I'm working on the house.
