G2 3K Carbon Foregrip Sleeve

Does anyone know what ID of this is? I can't seem to find it.
Would it fit one of the Fuji hoods(KPDS, HPS,KSKSS) for making a hidden hood on a Fuji IPS reel seat.

Thanks

Stan

The G2 CF fore grip sleeve comes in two parts. There is the carbon fiber sleeve (ID 23mm) which fits over an aluminum sleeve (ID 21.5 mm).which serves as a trim piece. This combination fits the Fuji KSKSS16 hood perfectly. You epoxy the CF sleeve to the aluminum sleeve and it to the KSKSS hood. I usually use the Batson forecast aluminum (FAWC) or rubber (FBWC) winding check which fits in front of size 16 reel seats. This winding check take up the space between the hood and blank. You can also build a ramp that does the same thing. Hope this helps.

Follow up on this.

Norman the information you provided was spot on. I got all the parts for the grips yesterday. The matte G2 3k matches the NFC Soft Touch 1K Grip Pattern Nicely.
This fits nicely on the KSKSS 16 Hood. I have the Aluminum Winding Check you suggested but might be a little big to for the rod blank.
I am thinking I could put wrap some thread underneath it the same color as my Guide wraps to take it up the Space and make it fit a little snugger

Once again Thanks for the information

Stan

With the aluminum winding checks it’s always better to have it slightly larger than smaller. A thread wrap will prevent it from moving. Happy to hear that things worked out well for you.
