King rod guide placement

Good morning
I recently bought new blank and was looking to make king rod for pier fishing.
The blank is Bushido model BA3k9 /12-25lb,1-4oz,mod-fast action and will be paired with certate 5000 reel.(its compact with spool 54mm=8.1/8"),and will use Shimano Grappler braid 0.19mm-30lb class
I have few sets of fuji guides (alconite, dark titanium t2 sic, titanium torzite),and tiforge titanium pentalite by American tackle.Any set would work just to finish rod for my spring trip.
I had in mind using 30kw-20kl-12kt-8kts to the tip, when I use x27 I get choke guide placed on 57.3/8",and I connect string from tip of the spool extended to the choke guide, the striper size 30 ends up being 16.3/8" from the tip of the shaft, and looks to close.I manage to put total of 9 guides.
So I don't know if that's correct or not, perhaps I have not done something right.
Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

Take off the spool and line your string up with the shaft angle and see where the choke point is. 16 3/8" does seem too close. I would think 20"+ would be about right.
