Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month

April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance month. Autism Awareness is something American Tackle takes to heart.
Don Morse, one of our amazing team members is the founder of Autism Anglers. Don’s son, Landon, is on the spectrum and the reason Autism Anglers exists. Autism Anglers is a 501c3 charity working with autistic anglers and raising awareness to ASD and the daily struggles these amazing people and their families go through. Don says “I have heard that you should combine your passions, if possible, to make them stronger. Besides my passion of ASD awareness and acceptance, my other passions are fishing and fishing rod building… we love to help AUSOME anglers.”
American Tackle is a big family, and we love the missions of Autism Anglers. We are proud to change our banner to help raise awareness and acceptance if it means more people learn and understand these amazing people and misunderstood disorder.
