Somebody from another forum harvested a picture I posted here in 2016 of a gaff that I customized and posted it as their own work. I am kind of flattered as I am strictly an amateur but.....why would you do that?

What I would do if I were you, is respond on that forum that it is your work and then link back to this photo page to prove it. Let it go at that.

Why somebody would do such a thing is most likely to do a variety of reasons that really don't address the issue you're dealing with so I won't wager on opinion on that.

Joseph,
I like Tom’s suggestion and apparently you as well = expose the dweeb for what he is = a worm. Without knowing who the other person is, I am embarrassed for him. I am interested in what the other members have to say after exposing the low-life thief. Can you send me a link of the other post to my personal email? Thanks. Never mind; I see your email is hidden.

Happened to me this weekend as well…. Someone lifted several pics of EVA grips I did and included with other pics in a Facebook ad for custom build rods & wraps

I politely asked him in the post why he’d included my pic and if I should expect an order in the near future from him :) - several others recognized it and called him out as well. I also directly messaged the individual - his excuse was he was currently working on a similar set… he eventually deleted the post.
