Does anyone here have experience with the Fuji concept O rings? In my case specifically for runners on an UL KR concept setup. Weight? Durability? Smoothness? I haven't seen much information out there so I figured I would use that as an excuse to make a thread asking about them. Re: Fuji concept O guides

Will work fine on an ultra light concept. I don't know the weight details, but they won't weigh much in the sizes you will use for UL. No concerns on durability or smoothness. I've never seen a Fuji guide groove. I had a couple old cheapie no-name tiptops groove, so I use SIC for my tiptops just to be sure.
Go to the AnglersResource site in the left column and use the KW software to size and locate the reduction train, then use their two line method stress test to locate the runners. If you haven't used the two line method before, try it. It is easier than the one line method because the tiny guides are not loading the blank when testing, so they stay put much better. They also can be moved without unloading the rod. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/28/2022 03:57PM by Michael Danek. Re: Fuji concept O guides

I realized now that they are just Fuji's "special" aluminum oxide rings. Re: Fuji concept O guides

The concept O guides have a hard type of aluminum oxide ring that allows them to be deep pressed into the frame. They are quite hard and durable and will work well, but they are not a K series guide. I assume you will be using the LOG-T (belly guide) and the regular LOG as your running guides. The LOG-T only comes in a size 4.5.

Oops, thanks, Norman. I didn't realize the O's didn't come in K series. I recommend, if you're looking at cost as a priority, going Fazlite in the K series. Then my previous comments apply, and I do really like the K series. K series is the only way I do spin any more. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
