Got my magazine today and learned this message board has been sold. I joined here all the way back in 2005 but today is my first post. Mostly I listened and learned and always enjoyed reading the info from so many fine rod builders, better builders than me. Never went a week without tuning in here for awhile to catch up.I remember when there were a dozen maybe more, rod building message boards. Some were very good and this one the best. I also remember the rod building flame wars back about ten years ago and how nasty some of them got but you kept this place out of the fray and above what the others were doing. I remember a sponsor in NY once told me that this was the only message board he sponsored because it was the only place he knew that his company would be represented in a good light and was not worried about sponsoring a place where people fought and flamed each other all the time. They came and they went but this place remained. I hope it will continue on in some way. Hopefully the magazine will continue under your leadership but I was not sure about that. It would be a shame if it went to a new owner also. Good luck and thank you for so many great years of rod building information and enjoyment.
