Building a spey rod for a customer and he wants a reel seat that is going to make the rod look special. Something with a wood insert to give it a classic look that some might describe as "beautiful". Can somebody point me in the direction of where I can find such a seat? Have searched online and am having trouble finding larger reel seats that aren't solid aluminum.

REC has a Spey seat that accepts a wooden spacer. They have a ton of nice wooden spacers to choose from.
Their spay seat is SWAU.

I saw that seat before but says on their site it's only available in walnut. Would be ideal if all their options were available.

Batson has a number of reel seats with wood inserts. Most Spey rods do not need a very heavy reel seat.

Lemke makes beautiful reel seats with exotic wood inserts. Both Meiser and Burkheimer use them on their spey builds.

R. B. Meiser will sell you a seat, I have always liked the Ferguson style.

Also thanks everyone for the recommendations. I checked out Meiser and the link above, those are all the caliber reel seat I'm looking for. Now I think my customer might have too many options to consider!
