NFC LMX fly blank

For those who have wrapped an LMX fly blank, how fast and how powerful are the LMX fly blanks? I was thinking of a 10 ft. 7 wt for streamer fishing for trout on large rivers, and maybe a little salt. I want something that can throw a fly 80 feet or more but not feel like a club or broom stick, and also not be too heavy in the hand. For 75 clams these LMX blanks seem to be a very good deal.

How might the LMX action and feel compare to these rods I have in my quiver:

-- Eternity 2 (6 weight) which I like and is prerry fast and light;
-- Sage Motive (7 wt) which I find quite stiff and stout, and kind of heavy in hand, but is no doubt a gun;
-- TFO TiCrX (5 weight) that I find I can fish with a 6 or 7 weight line quite well. Some call the TiCrX a club but I find when overweighted it a line or two that I like them a lot.

Or, how would you compare LMX to or, without comparison, what do you think of these rods in a 7-weight?
-- Batson Revelation
-- MHX Native
-- NFC Gamma Betta

So many choices.

They are fast and are definitely not heavy. I really like mine, have made about 5 fly rods from the LMX blanks. I would compare it to something between a Sage 1 and NRX. I think you will like it if paired with the correct fly line. Does not feel as heavy as the TiCrX. Have not done the 7 weight or a 10 footer. You should be able to cast 80' with it and the right line if you already have that ability with other fly rods.

The NFC Gamma Beta is more of a faster, heavy butted blank, if I was saltwater fishing most often, I may go that way. It's closer in my estimation to the NRX than the Sage Method, not as stiff tipped as a Sage. A good thing where you may have to throw close or far, which is streamer fishing in a nutshell, it would be a better snake/ curve / roll/ tuck caster because your timing with the softer tip wouldn't be so critical.

Just built a Gamma 10 wt. light and fast. Bought the blank for tarpon, pike and musky fishing. Throws big flies well. Use it on kings this year and the action was great on drifts and hooksets crisp. I put carbon fiber grips on it and TI guides= pretty light!

It's tough to give advise about which rod will please another fly caster. What distance will the rod need to cast? Does the user regularly double-haul? How relatively wind-resistant are the flies this rod will cast? How long will the leaders be which this rod will cast?

It sounds silly, but fly rod users cast lines, not flies and not rods. Instead of spending lots of time and money buying or building the perfect rod and finding it isn't - try casting several different weight lines on your rod until you find the right match. The fly fisher who casts 35' will not like the same rod using the same line as the guy who double-hauls 90' casts.
