CFX Carbon Fiber Grips?

So I'm experimenting with these grips and noticed one of the sections of the CF sleeve / fabric has a blemish. It's a small hole that my OCD cannot get past. LOL. Rather than toss this section and start again, I was thinking of letting it dry, and then applying a second CF sleeve over it. Anyone do this? Will the porous material of the existing grip make the second grip look funky? I realize it would thicken the grip a bit, but that will not be a problem. Pros? Cons? Suggestions?

If you want to be sure that the textured surface of the sleeve won't affect the second sleeve you want to put over it, just coat the existing grip with the layup epoxy you use for the putting the sleeve on. Once it dries you can sand it to remove any high spots and then just install the second sleeve on it as if it were a bare foam core.

I've only built one of the CFX grips using the kit from Mud Hole. I didn't like the way the foam core gripped the sleeve, even when wet with epoxy, so I followed the procedure I outlined above, on the foam core before I built the grip. It worked beautifully.

It's a little more work than simply sliding a new sleeve over the existing one, but if you are OCD about those kind of things, and I totally understand lol, then treating the existing grip like a foam core will mean you won't have to wonder.
