Does someone know what color of ProWrap non color protected thread will match the color of the blank as closely as possible. Thank you! jerry

The ClearCoat finish is as black as you can get - except for the graphite texture showing through. So, any black will match.
Are you considering the REC Recoils in Black??

I used REC guides on a Sage build recently, i do like them.
I went with litewire snake on this one.

If your looking for the thread to have almost no contrast to the blank color, I would recommend you buy a couple of colors, from Black down to Greys and do some test wraps on the butt section where your grip will go. Personally I think Black thread is going to stand out more than you may want. Pro Wrap A nylon is a fine thread and it will darken a bit when you apply your finish. Something like #841 Iron Ore or #850 Storm Cloud may do the trick.

Put your finish on the test wraps, its very easy to remove and hidden once grip goes on.

You can also use natural white silk thread to create invisible wraps that will allow the blank, and guide feet colors to present themselves. A video with tips for invisible wraps - [www.youtube.com]
