I'm looking for a complete set of spinning rod guides in gold. If anyone knows who might have please let me know. Stocks are getting thin in many places.

There are a couple of offerings available. Pacbay makes both single foot, fly rod, and tip top guides in gold color. - [www.jannsnetcraft.com]

On EBy, there's this - []

Finally, there's this from American Tackle - [www.anglersworkshop.com]

All are quality brands.

What do you consider a set? I have some new old stock fuji single foots. These were from the days of cone of flight setups. Give me some sizes and quantities your looking for and I will check my stash.

I've used the gold and bronze guides from Pac Bay, the newer process used in the last 15 years or so is a superior finish to the old Fuji finish, if there is a chance in God's green earth this rod will get near saltwater you want the Pac Bay guides. They look better too.

I'm going to be building a spinning rod for a retiring marine colonel so gold guides would be the ticket in single foot. The issue right now is stock. I haven't been able to find anyone who doesn't have half bare shelves. I have a blank that's been on order, going on three months. Thank goodness it for a friend and not a customer. This rod doesn't have to be complete until March so I have time but no-one knows what the back order situation is going to be.

1-30 1-20 1-12 1-8 4-6 and a gold top 6 ring, 6.5 to 7 tube size. If I have to go 7 - 7 on the tip, that's fine.

Phillip:

In addition to the gold guides, a midnight blue for wraps might be appropriate - and or possibly with some red or white trim possibly?

The uniform is essentially midnight blue with a white cap with gold trim and for some, red trim on the sleeves.

Best wishes
