Surf rod guide choice

I am about to build a surf rod for the first time. I have built a number of spinning rods using the KR concept and absolutely love it. I was thinking of using it on this rod or would it be better to use the KW guides? The rod is a 10 foot 2 to 6 oz and the reel is a Saragosa 5000 using either 20 or 30 pound braid.

Thanks,
John

I too love how the KR concept performs, and based on all the reading I've done on this board I doubt the KH guides would fail. It probably comes down to how you treat and transport the rod and where you fish. I plan to do a concept layout on a NFC 9115 soon. It's rated 1-6, and I doubt I will throw over 4 with it. Should be fine for my local SC beaches or launching metal at the OBX with KH guides.
