I'm an Italian rodbuilder, since 1999 I used a lot of Lamiglas blank's to realize my works ( G1000 Salmon & Steelhead series), I thinks to be the best blanks !
Always I bought it by wholesale Mud Hole program and now there are unsearchable (I think they have lose the reseller agreement with them).

I wrote to MH and they have their mouths sewn up, no one gives details and postponing the purchase of what is in their catalog. I then wrote to Lamiglas and they respond is their blanks are not available right now and they're working on making more without they haveanswered my question if I can buy the blanks directly from them.

Does anyone know what happened?

No one seems to know what is going on there, but it appears to me that a few indicators point to much greater issues than COVID. I’ve waited extra time for blanks from three other companies after COVID, but there were no manufacturing related issues.

Well experienced steelhead and surf casting anglers, who have been their customers for decades, seem to be fleeing. I hear it in conversations and see it on forums. These are people who are experts at using and caring for rods. I hope Lamiglas turns this around and I even bought a rod from them to help. That didn’t go well. I’m now sitting them out until something positive and tangible happens. I don’t believe that there is currently anyway for you to know when a blank you want to build on will be shipped to your beautiful and historic country if they didn’t meaningfully answer your questions.
