I got my fighting butt on crooked. Used 15 minute pro past. Is there a way to get the butt off or do I cut it off and start over with a new fighting butt?

You can try boiling it in water (in ziplock bag) to see if the epoxy will release. It work with reel seats.

Cork is an insulator will take a long time to heat where the epoxy is an warm it up so you can remove the butt. the fastest way is to R & R it , an move on no chance to burn the blank ,
PS the epoxy on the reel seat will also get hot , don't know if I would trust the epoxy in the reel seat after it has been heated up like that , to be safe R & R it an move on ,
{ R&R is REMOVE IT & REPLACE IT }
GOOD luck on the butt removal
