Very impressed with latest NFC order.

I took advantage of the freshwater blanks with free grips offer. I placed my order on the evening of May 29th. So might as well count it as June 1st with the weekend and Memorial Day. Blanks arrived today, ahead of estimated ship date.

Everything was packed perfectly. All blanks were in individual sleeves with correct decals inside. and rubber bands on both ends. I have only looked at them for a few seconds but fit and finish is stunning and they are ruler straight. These are UL to light power 2 piece blanks.

The FW 741-2 has some good wiggle in the tip but isn't a weak sister. Heck I had a "white river" 7 WT fly rod that was weaker. Still, you know it will be a rocket launcher with a 1/16 ounce jig. I think all the blanks were 100% true to listed ratings in all ways.

The FW 702-2 seems particularly sweet. Nice light tip but hardly any waggle when you give it the wiggle test. Has that brittle glass sound when you tap the butt on concrete. The ferrule is a built up section (about 3-4" long) that inspires confidence and you know you are never failing there. Very light in weight yet, and almost like a HS9000, you get the feeling this blank will handle more than you dream it can. I have no doubt I could fish 6# mono on this blank and handle a 5 pound bonefish. This blank feels the lightest in weight but I don't have a scale to put them on. From trout to smallmouth, to flats, I think this blank would please a lot of people looking for a moderate fast finesse rod.

The FW 664-2 is much the same as the FW 702-2. Very light and crisp. I am surprised at the robust feeling in these freshwater blanks. Much more like an inshore blank in terms of power to listed rating. Yet they still deliver in the blank weight relative to other fresh water rods of similar rating.

Again, top notch packing with all the little attention to details. True to web site ratings. Correct decals. Superb fit and finish. Absolutely stunning and perfectly straight blanks. Might feel a little different when I get them outside in the bright sun and really look them over. NFC is getting their act together IMHO.

Like Christmas when you get them. Very hard to beat. On my longer blanks I don't believe I have ever gotten them without damage to the tube, but the blanks inside have always been good with no damage.

Just noticed it was sent USPS priority mail 2 day. Nice touch considering it was free shipping.

Now I see they have a buy three (or more) and get 75% off sale. This company will be the death of me:)

The service at NFC HAS REALLY STEPPED THINGS UP. I had a warranty situation which was taken care of instantly. There are amaz9ng blanks and with service like this I’m not sure anything can stop them! Thank you NFC
