It's amazing how many people come and go throughout our lives many having a profound impact while others a fading memory without rhyme or reason . This is especially true of internet forums . All I know about Mr. Harry is that he was one very intelligent individual and I came to that conclusion based on his many back and fourths with other members on Rodbuilding .org that I found in the archives in particular when researching CTS a few years back . Emory and Stephen Pratt talking about blank tech back in the day was good stuff. Re: Emory Harry

Chris, Mark Gibson is another name to add to your archive searching. Or at least I think he is worth a read.
In my limited experience Boeing seemed to have the most brilliant engineers (and us rod builders owe a lot to them). Tektronix (whom Emory worked for) was certainly no slouch in that area. I have no idea who Mark was associated with. IIRC he was a materials engineer (or scientist ). Russ in Hollywood, FL. Re: Emory Harry

Appreciate the recommendation Russ , you're right, I searched for his name and found a ton of threads that Mark and Emory are involved in and it's the kind of technical stuff I like . Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
