RodGeeks Ordering

Anyone else on here order any rodgeeks blanks recently and their orders aren’t shipping? I ordered from them for the first time ever expecting to get my blank delivered before a big fishing trip that I’m going on at the end of this week so that I could build a rod for it. RodGeeks says their blanks should deliver within 2 weeks of ordering since they custom make them after you order, but it’s been about 3 and a half weeks and it hasn’t even shipped yet. I also tried contacting them to no response either. Not trying to sound like I have a stick up my butt, just bummed out that I can’t build a rod I wanted for this trip coming up. Hoping it eventually ships pretty soon.

About all you can do is keep trying to contact them. Very doubtful they will see your comments here on this forum - they left us as a sponsor over a year ago.

I think it was about a year ago when I read that St. Croix bought out rodgeeks. I have ordered a few blanks from them and it took about 3-4 weeks to receive them.

Rod Geeks rods are made in Mexico. They are shipped to a holding facility as I recall in Texas for customs clearance. It takes time... Covid has slowed things down considerably.

Shipping Information

RODgeeks blanks are built to order in our factory. Place an order, and we will fabricate and paint your blanks within a few business days. We will ship your order to Laredo, Texas, and after clearing Customs it will be delivered to your address by FedEx or UPS. Most orders shipped to U.S. customers are delivered within 2 weeks of when they are placed. A flat rate of $18.95 is charged for most blank shipments within the U.S., so you can save money by ordering multiple blanks at once. Order a RODgeeks blank and you are truly buying from the manufacturer. In our world, factory direct is a very literal term.

We do not ship internationally.

RODgeeks products other than blanks are shipped from our Park Falls Wisconsin location and should arrive within a week of placing your order.

For clarification, I have nothing to do with Rod Geeks. Just copy and pasted from their website is all.

I am considering some of their SCV blanks though...

it would make sense if they had some "ready to ship" blanks that were not going to be painted, in stock in the states. I've been wanting to try their blanks and if I don't need them painted, I surely don't need to wait 3.4,5- 8 weeks for some blanks.
