I am intrested in purchasing a couple of these blanks to try out,but can't find a distributor for them(Mudhole,Merrick,Heads or Tails,Custom Tackle Supply).I am scratching my head, wandering why nobody stocks them.I believe Clemens sells their fly rod blanks, but I am looking for a wide range of blanks .

Any opinions on their quality? Thanks for the help

I've built three rods on Shikari blanks and have been pleased with the performance. Their owner spoke at our local rodbuilding club last year and is committed to producing a quality product. Shikari is one of the few US blank companies that don't produce finished rods. Check the link to Richards Rod and Reel for models and pricing.

Folks,
The computer problem was one which I was unable to properly download this site, but my email is fine.

As for Shikari, we are a distributor in Canada for Shikari blanks with customers who wish to deal with us from anywhere. Sorry, we aren't listing the blanks yet on our site, but if you email me, I'll be glad to email back the list with prices promplty to you.

We chose Shikari to expand our selections of quality blanks already we are associated with St. Croix, Rainshadow, Forecast, and Pacific Bay. Shikari is a heartland U.S.A. blank manufacturer of good reputation for a very respectable product. Many highly rated models of factory rods are produced on Shikari blanks. Check out their high modulus-high strain SHX and SHX top rated series. Also of interest are their SHII standard graphite and composite blanks either glass/graphite or the G-Force durable E-Glass big game rod blanks.

It's not so much a matter of how close by the manufacturer is, but in Canada and for our good customers anywhere I'd be glad to help you as their authorized distributor. A suggestion is to check with us for any models seen on their www.shikariblanks.com website and get back to Richard's Rod & Reel for further details on ordering for better service and price.
