Cork protective film

Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the direction of the plastic film used to protect cork grips, I'm guessing some sort of heat shrink?

Many thanks,

Jason

Jason,
That's just for new rods so the grips don't get "shop-worn" from prospective customers handling them.
I wouldn't fish with them. They'll keep the cork looking new - but will be slippery.
U40 sells a liquid cork sealer.

Thanks Herb, these are for new grips to be kept clean when their being sent to my clients and during their rod builds

If you put plastic over cork grips you now have plastic grips.

p.s.
Simple green cleaner and a scrub brush will clean up a cork grip to keep it looking new:
