Hi all,
Can anyone point me in the direction of the plastic film used to protect cork grips, I'm guessing some sort of heat shrink? Many thanks, Jason Re: Cork protective film

Jason,
That's just for new rods so the grips don't get "shop-worn" from prospective customers handling them. I wouldn't fish with them. They'll keep the cork looking new - but will be slippery. U40 sells a liquid cork sealer. Herb Re: Cork protective film

If you put plastic over cork grips you now have plastic grips. Re: Cork protective film

Simple green cleaner and a scrub brush will clean up a cork grip to keep it looking new: [www.homedepot.com] Re: Cork protective film
