NFC Carbon Fiber Grip Specs

Has anyone purchased the carbon fiber grip for the Fuji VSS1615 reel seat from NFC?

I purchased one, it didn't fit. I also purchased one for a VSS16 at that time. Both parts seemed identical. I thought I may have been sent the wrong item, so I reordered a VSS1615 grip. I just received that item and again it does not fit.

Just wondering if anyone has has a similar experience with this item?

I did send an email to NFC regarding the first item, but did not get a response. I have again emailed them and left a voice message.

This is one for Norman Miller. He's familiar with both products if I'm not mistaken. (If)

Sorry, I have not tried the NFC 16 VSS or 16/15 VSS CF grips, a little too small for me. I currently have on order both the NFC 17 VSS and IPS CF grips, and I’m looking forward trying them. Been on order since 21 January. However, I have tried a bunch of NFC IPS EFX soft touch CF grips and like them a lot. They are very well made, fit the seat perfectly, and are very comfortable. Sounds like you are only getting the 16VSS grip. Try contacting Ashley@northforkcomposites.com . She has been quite helpful and does respond promptly to her emails.

I bought the IPS grips when the first came out, they were on my porch in four days and fit just fine.

NFC is difficult to figure out. I have had some orders ship the same day I ordered, I have also had an order take over 4 months to ship. My most recent grip order has been over 2 months and still has not shipped. It is a crap shoot when ordering from them as to when your order will ship. If you need something in a hurry it would be best to check with them on availability. Their customer service has gotten much better.
