Fenwick Rod Blanks

I was wondering who bought out the Fenwick rod company. I have just started where my father left off with his rod building. He passed away in 2013 and our house caught fire in 2018, which we lost quite a bit of his poles. I am wanting to replace them with newer poles, but I have a big pole that caught fire and melted the tip and weakened the middle of the pole. I am wanting to insert the older pole into a new pole, just to have a piece of my father's talent within the new pole. If someone knows a phone number or web address, would be greatly appreciated.

Been owned by Pure Fishing for decades, no blanks available for a very long time now. All Chinese built full rods for a very long time now.

Right. Fenwick faltered and was sold to Lamiglas in the late 90's to early 2000's. Pure Fishing picked it up shortly thereafter. Since then it has been a brand rather than a manufacturer.

For Fenwick blanks you will have to look for them at flea markets, garage sales, @#$%&, wearever you would find used items.

If you are looking for a rod blank made in the USA go to the Get Bit Outdoors website and check out the Liberty blanks. Offered in many styles and sizes and have been shown to be a quality product.
All of the other blanks found on the websites to the left are either made in China, Korea, Mexico or elsewhere.

"All of the other blanks found on the websites to the left are either made in China, Korea, Mexico or elsewhere." This statement can't be correct

Yeah there are 5 suppliers of US rods/blanks in the state of Washington alone. 4 sell blanks, Thrasher, Talon, Rainshadow, Lamiglas.

Hello All.

Tom wrote "All of the other blanks found on the websites to the left are either made in China, Korea, Mexico or elsewhere." .
Now I don't know if he is right because I have not checked but I think some people misread the statement, he said "All of the other blanks found on the websites to the left" not in the world.
The part "are either made in China, Korea, Mexico or elsewhere." is meant that the "websites to the left" are what he is talking about nowhere else.

Hope this hasn't confused you to much.

I'm willing to bet there are some people to the left that sell Lamiglas and Rainshadow US built blanks, North Fork Composites and Batson is right there to the left. Hydra is built, last I heard, in the Carolinas someplace, again to the left. ARW is still selling some Cousins blanks from So Cal. United Composites still in So Cal, not sure about Seeker after buy out. All sold by sponsors.
