Hi all - Question for those who make carbon fiber grips.
Would it be possible to make a maniform fly grip using a carefully sanded foam blank and a carbon fiber sleeve? I suppose you would have to overwrap the sleeve with celophane tape (similar to blank construction) to get the sleeve to conform to the foam blank while the epoxy dries. Here's a link to a maniform cork grip overview: [www.youtube.com] Thanks much. Re: Carbon Fiber Maniform Grip

Hello Ladd.
I'm not sure it would work, how about once you wet-out your cf cover it with shrink tube, and shrink it down. Once dried cut off the shrink tube. Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Carbon Fiber Maniform Grip

I've done them and simply used the shrink tubing.
