Are the TFO axiom 2 fly blanks available to rod builders ? If so, who carries them?

Looking for an 8 wt - it looked like the they had up to 7wt.

Call them, they maybe able to get exactly what you want. They seem to be a TFO dealer. I think they are in Montgomery Alabama.

Burfish hasn't updated their website since 2015 it looks like, they maybe in Johnny's Pond, or Merrick Tackle status. I haven't personally seen an Axiom blank for sale in years. Unless you're casting close I think the BVK blank is lighter and livier, at least in my hands.

Spencer, I didn’t know that, I ordered some stuff from them a number of years ago, and as I remember got good service. The older you get the faster time flies by. I would still call them to make sure.

Why did TFO stop building BVK blanks heavier than an eight weight? I built a 9wt. BVK for myself 10 years ago and it's still my go-to medium-heavy fly rod. Hiigh-stick yankers who break rods should not discourage manufacturers from building light, powerful rods.

In normal channels TFO does not offer Axiom II blanks.
