Any idea when NFC plans to expand the HMx -ray material into other rod categories because I remember early on when they first came out in the description it said that the HMx-ray material would be expanding into other rod categories at some point .

Considering the sea conditions here during non summer months in the Pac NW, and the Covid crisis I can't imagine much time recently has been spent offshore, that and we don't have grouper here. The picture on the site shows the blank holding 3 lbs.

Are the new NEo blanks in stock?

Chris - we will in April. We are staggering releases, and already have a major product release scheduled for March.

This is not an offshore specific rod, and the weight on the blank is there to showcase the power of the tip.

The blank is also great for Musky applications, etc. :-)
