I uploaded 3 photos of an old salt water bamboo rod to my member gallery. I would like to know if anyone can tell anything about the rod. Guy wants it redone I say leave it like it is. The rod is 6 sided.

Hello Chris.

It's an old KingFisher, they came in a bunch of lengths and were used mostly as serf or boat rods, I think I still have 2 of them, but I don't fish them any more, I used them on my boat, and have sense sold my boat.

P.S. Michael I like for fun but I wouldn't use one for big tuna or marlin(maybe a small one).

Hello Chris.

I have yet to find an NOS seat or I would have 3.

If you look on the net you can find them (some in the $170+ range).

You going to try to make the next EXPO?, I'm going to try, so I'll see you there.
