Liberty P703

My neighbor is tasking me with building a jerkbait rod for him. He seems to like a softer tip, and something with a bit more bend, so I was thinking possibly of a popping blank for him. Anyone had any experience with this Liberty P703 blank? I was planning to cut anything down to about 6'9 in length, so I assume the blank is more Moderate to Fast to begin with. Two questions:

1. Do you think the tip will have enough recovery, dont want him passing out after an hour fishing trying to get his bait to work in the water

2. Will it feel under powered

Had good luck building jerks on other options that are faster like the Revelations and such, but everyone has different feels for what they want in a blank.

I would call Kevn Brotz at Get Bit and ask him. I can vouch for the quality and performance of other Liberty rods I have built but no experience on the one in question.

You will like the liberty popping blank, I like a soft tip rod the blank has a nice tip and backbone down the blank. I build them for a lot of fisherman no complaints.yet.

How do you feel the tip will recover on a jerkbait, fast enough or too slow. Thanks for the reply.
