The Fuji LG is my go to tip top. I would recommend using the Alconite or SiC ring both of high quality. Tip tops take a heck of a beating so I never go lower than Alconite

Alconite. I just got an update that the KB's are out of stock and can't be backordered.

What size, frame color, and ring material are you trying to buy? Can always try a different frame color.

KW 10, KW 5.5, 2/3 KB 5's and 5 runners. All CC silver alconite. But, KB's out of stock. Thinking of going to the 4.5's.

I mostly use KB/KT 4.5 runners, but you can use all KT 5s and use a locking wrap, or use a 5.5 KB, or change your frame color to BC, which is my favorite, or try another vendor.

Well, I looked at the BC. Havn't used those before but they would look good with the Curado reel. I'll take another look. Is there enough difference between the 4.5 and the 5 to matter?

Not a lot of difference between the 4.5 and 5. I Really can’t tell much, if any, performance difference between them. I do use braid with a leader connected via an FG knot. If you are using a larger knot a size 5 might be a little better.

Switching to the BC found the 4.5 KT out of stock. LOL

I appreciate that Norm. I'm awaiting 2 spin rods and a fly rod I'm building, these were ordered 2 weeks ago and I already have all the components ready to go for these rods. There's no fire for this PB build.
